Valquo is a free, personal, educational project published by Donovan Corbin. It is built to
need nothing from you: there are no visitor accounts, nothing to buy and no mailing list.
1. What is collected
- Nothing you type into a form. There is no sign-up. The only login is the owner's.
- Server logs. Like any website, the hosting provider records standard request logs —
IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user-agent — which are used only
to keep the site running and secure.
- One cookie. A session cookie is set to protect the site's forms against cross-site
request forgery (and, for the owner, to keep the login). It carries no identity and is not
used to track you.
- Things kept only in your own browser. Your light/dark choice, a short-lived copy of
recently loaded results so pages paint faster, and any account total you type into the
Index calculator are stored in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to the
site.
- Feedback you choose to send. If you use the feedback link, what you send (and, for
an email, your address) is used only to read and answer it.
2. What is not done
No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no selling or renting of
anything. Nothing is profiled.
3. Who else is involved
The hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps the logs above; a public content
network that serves the charting library, which therefore sees the request for it; and, only if
you click Run AI analysis, an AI provider that receives the company's figures — not
anything about you — to write the summary. Information is disclosed otherwise only if legally
required.
4. Children
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
5. Changes and contact
If what the site collects changes, this page changes first, with a new date. Questions:
